![]() Same with the Banshee, though I've never heard of a male version in any lore.Īll the other minions could be of either gender. Yeah, the Bride is clearly female, but merely cause he designed her that way. ![]() Whatever you are made to be by the Necromancer is what you'll be for the rest of eternity, this is true of Necromancers both in Iratus and outside Iratus. ![]() Here's something to ponder - how are you sure that some characters are definitely male or female? Obviously many of the enemies, but what of the minions?Ībominations, Skeletons, Reapers, Dark Knights, Wraiths, etc - For Necromancers, what you were in life is of absolutely no concern. I'm not sure this is a fixable complaint (at least not without an overhaul of the art) but I guess maybe just in future projects (or DLC for this one) consider some more diversity in the art for the female cast? I'm sure it's not just me that finds it silly and unnecessary. The devs have done a great job, put in a lot of work and clearly care a lot about the game.īut my biggest gripe - what's up with the female character art? Specifically why do all the female characters look the same - slender with big boobs out? Part of it's probably just a stylistic thing, and I get that, but the male characters get to be diverse and visually interesting, why not the ladies? If we're looking to inspiration, Darkest Dungeon (while not perfect) has a cast of female characters that look far less like pin-up models and more like actually competent warriors. So I'll start by saying I've been very pleasantly surprised by Iratus - game's a lot of fun, characters are interesting (both minions and enemies) and the core gameplay loop is compelling.
